You'll be able to turn up the boost and hit 150 without much issue, I'd bet. The front diff is bad though.
With the clutch issues they already have I'd hate to be a dealer!
You talkin about Polaris or Can Am? A friend's 1k clutch blew with just a few hundred miles on it and he had to buy a new one, no warranty. I think they companies see clutches as wear items like tires or somethin...

If it was hot in the cab before, I'll bet you could wear your hot pants in the winter with a turbo.

Far as quality goes I think polaris is about the cheapest than out there. Ever time I take the rzr on a ride I have to save money for months to fix the pile of . And what's funny is how everyone tries to bash on something they don't even own, or just because someone owns one brand they think it's the best. I remember when everyone use to bash the rzr all the time and now they own one, me included. I think if someone wants what ever brand of sxs they should get it. It may fit their needs better, not what everyone thinks they should have. Besides can am adding a turbo opens the sxs world to a all new game of performance. For me the turbo maverick would best fit my needs than any other sxs on the market now.

I like the power, looks and handling of the Mav but I couldn't tolerate the heat and noise from the motor by leg. If they'd move it to the rear, I would consider one.

I've never ridden the can-am but the heat can't be any worse than the xp900. As far as quality goes I tend to lump all three domestic manufacturers together at the bottom of the heap. However they are the only ones that are making sport sxs.

The rotex motor is a bad ass motor , but the can am is a 3 legged dog any way you slice it. It will never have as good a four wheel drive system a RZR has of any kind 800 , 900 , or 1000 , because there is no such thing. Polaris has it down pat , it is the very best FWD system made on a SXS. So until Can Am Has a FWD system that can match PO PO , they can have 500 HP and for what we do it will Still be a three legged Dog.... Simple...

And you have the right to do that......
Though i think you are exaggerating a bit.... People have not had that many problems with RZR's , mainly the A-arm bushings and tie rods and such , but not many. My RZR has been trouble free for 4 years , granted as a mechanic and race car guy i am OCD about my shit.. and i realize i don't ride as much as some of you. So i don't have the miles on mine most do , But we will take Ronnie for example. He rides a lot , And has had no where near the problems you are talking about. even with his old 800 that had a bazillion miles on it , after the motor rebuild , he hardly had any problems. its a fact if you want to ride these machines in the fashion that we do , I don't care what it is, if you rock crawl and haul ass in this rough crap with mud and everything , you are going to break shit , Its just part of it , if thats the way we are going to ride. But our main thing is climbing rocks , And 4 wheels pulling is always going to be better than 3. Thats all i got to say about it...
Now you go get your 121 HP Canned Ham.. And you can wait at the bottom of the hill til we come back down.....

I know the normal wear items are going to wear out, but the shit shouldn't wear out in less than few 100 miles. But not knowing if it's going to have awd, start or even make back home or not. Has far has waiting at the bottom of the hill. I don't believe I will have to worry about that.
