I won't part with my RZRS since it has never had on trail problems but the wiring issue where it rubbed the shifting cable on the last ride. I have had it since October 2009. I turned down the deal of a lifetime on an XP900 last year just because I like my S. I did consider a Maverick a while back, but just not sure about the 4X4. When I ride with Corey and Rita with their Can Am, I see them go up the same stuff I do with no issues like I saw MUDDY BUDDY have.

Gimp I'm glad you don't have much problems with your machine. I know a lot of other people haven't had much problems with theirs either. But it seems like every time I turn around there is a problem with mine. I really liked mine for the 1st year or so than everything started to go down hill from there on. I think I'm just ready for something different

They make after market locker so the issue of not having 4wd is pointless. Ive owned both and can am was best choice for me. The talk about quality is funny. The can am is better quality machine imo.

Ditto on the 4wd argument, it;s pointless. As far as the heat.........ya you know you have a motor next to ya. Just don't put a full windshield in it to stop air flow. Heat sure is nice in the winter and when it's raining heavy though.Plus an added bonus is that the cup holders keep your coffee warm in the morning. Like i said before, this is my first can am product. Didn't really know what i was getting into when i bought it. Reliability has been beyond what i expected. I judge all my equipment by " cost of ownership ". If i only used my stuff 3 or 4 times a year than high maintenance might be fine. I don't, so having to address problems every 300- 500 miles just doesn't work. Are there things i'd like to see different? Sure ,that's why we have an aftermarket. A turbo sxs.........sweet, not for the woods though. I guess folks are just pissed Polaris didn't come out with it first. Than they would say what a wonderful idea it was and how they had to sell theirs to get it........With that comment let the s@&$ storm begin...............In the end who gives a care..just ride and enjoy what ever you bring. Why am i even making any comments on this? In today's world with all the cheap crap on the market that does not hold up, it good to see a company that seems to truly care about quality and it's customers. When i feel that is the case, than i will support that company with my dollars and telling others about my experience with the particular brand. Only way to make a company step up is by not buying their product. OK i'm off my milk crate now..........i'll shut up.

I agree with you 100%. I am glad to see Can Am in the sport market. They will do nothing but improve it.
You should go back and read my post from years ago..... I was a RZR basher. However, they build one of the funniest machines made.

Some of the post's make me scratch my head sometime about comments made about a certain product. I'm not just talking about can am or this site. I find it interesting the grounds that the comments are made. Sometimes you need to stop and understand why something was engineered a certain way and what the benefits of this are. Brand loyalty is like politics. Once someone buys into a party, it's hard to change there mind no matter what you prove to them. Only thing you can do is influence the undecided. I'm not a brand loyalist and wont bash other brands. All i go off is my experience with a product. Hopefully i can help a new buyer make an informed decision so they are happy with their purchase. If i would have read most post about Can am i would have thought they were a pile of...... Can Am seems to take a lot of slack for minute things. One of the impressive things i see, is the fact that they have just entered a market within the last few years. In that short period they have come to address issues and dislikes at a very rapid pace compared to other manufacturers. Out the gate there weren't really that many either. Nobody gets it perfect on the first few tries. These educated, unbiased discussions are needed because some manufacturers do look at these forums to see what people truly think of their product. Isn't it great that the market is so competitive. We all win in the end. Just think of what we'll be able to purchase in 10 years. Oh and by the way Big R ; i agree. The first time i had a chance to drive a 900 i had permagrin for the day.

Ya, i have to say that these 4 video's are some great examples of the original visco lock and alot of driver error. Ok, maybe i shouldn't use the word error. More like way of thinking on how to handle an obstacle. Good find on the video's. I'd love to see them change it out to a system like my Yamaha has, where i can choose what i want, when i want it. There is room for improvement like anything. It just doesn't seem as bad as people make it out to be. I also won't judge a whole machine by one item either. Am i trying to defend Can am here, no not at all. Mine's the Qe unit and it seems to go where i point it. Lord knows it's not me, cause i can't drive. Don't believe me, just ask RZR Joe.
