| Hatfield McCoy just keeps getting better! The Hatfield McCoy Trail Authority is in the process of connecting the Rockhouse Trail to the Buffalo Mountain Trail. Even though this has been in their plans for a long time, they are actually in the process of doing it now. Part of the trail connector is being prepared. They have been working since last fall on the connector. From the Rockhouse Trail, you will be able to travel to the Hatfield Cemetery which has the grave of Devil Anse Hatfield and other members of the Hatfield clan. Then you ride on to the Buffalo Mountain Trail. From what I hear, it should be ready by early summer! It has taken a long while, but it will be worth it when its done. Looking forward to this new addition to the trail system! It should be a great addition! EXCITED to say the least!! | |

Was that the dude about the grass Les?? The worst was when the campground owner came to our camp site the first day. We talked and he seemed great. I told him I would like to park on the concrete, under my trailers awning tonight, since we were not going to ride that day. He said that is ok, just not after you ride in the mud tomorrow. The next morning he came flying in, started screaming about me parking on the concrete pad. I never rode the RZRS yet. Just a head in front of everyone. Never again. Then about 10 people went on a night ride on private land that they had permission. Then he called the law on them that night when they were on their way back. So the main day ride was even worse. They had the law set up a Nazi check point right off of the campground on the trail. Took us over an hour to get past that. Several members just went back and packed up and left. I sent complaints to the Mayor and town board. She tried to make mends but I did not accept them. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| I didn't attend that ride but I heard about it. This past year was the first time I actually purchased a H/M permit. I like Ivy. Haven't seen much else that I've been crazy about. This new trail portion sounds like it would be worth checking out. I would love to see that cemetery. | |

| Airborne, the cemetery isn't what it's made up to be and you can easily access it by car or buggy if you want to see it.
Just out of curiosity and not tryin to hijack the tread but, what did you think bout the movie " American Sniper"? Read the book, seen the movie, and heard interview with Kyle before his death and I can't say enough good things bout it all. Lost all respect for Jessie Ventura though.

| I was completely unimpressed with HM. Maybe I'm spoiled since I ride at Brimstone, TWRA, Windrock and a lot of off the radar places, but HM reminded me of Royal Blue--the bunny slopes. | |
