Subject: spring preload Sat May 23, 2015 12:28 pm
Just wondering if anybody has messed with the spring preload to soften up the ride a little. I took 6 clicks out of the compression but don't expect that to do much for the ride. Thought about takin 1/2" or so off the preload but wondering if anybody has some suggestions.

not may members have the 900S yet. i have not done anything with the springs but smoothride did change the compression on my shocks. all the way to the end counter clockwise and then one click back it. i felt a difference. smoothride will be rebuilding my shocks as soon as i can save up the $$.

I turned em back 6 from stock...can't hardly hear em click at all. Will the know stop if I go all the way counterclockwise? Don't wanna spin it off or nuthin
