| Anyone have a source for fine thread bolts and nuts? I have a project in mind that will have to have super fine adjustments made and I can use either 4mm or 3/16" stuff. I need 4, ~ 2" bolts (screws) & 8 nuts. The only thing I've been able to find even close to what I need is here: https://www.thorlabs.com/newgrouppage9.cfm?objectgroup_id=1205and this shit is way more than I would like to pay. Anyone? | |

Most true hardware stores have a better selection then the big box stores. I agree. The big box stores have a good supply of the more common stuff in pretty much any length you need. Our local Ace is the place to go for the less common stuff like metric, stainless, and obscure hardware. I'll only go to Fastenall if I can't find it anywhere else, they think highly of their stuff. | |

I have an account there for my trucking company so...... Not so bad for me. Also, I usually buy things from there in bulk. | |
