only reason ford posts those numbers is from world wide fleet sales, not usa domestic, GM rules and has forever but Mr. King can school you guys on the duramax

yall boys know there isnt going to be someone talking bad about fords without my 2cents worth. so i say go to any!!!!!!!!! dragstrip, construction site, campground, farm, anywhere a truck is used for a truck and you will find fords out numbering chevy and dodge 2 to 1 because when you got a job to do or a load to pull you get a ford when you want to ride pretty or whatever you get a chevy and lord only knows what you are wanting to do if you buy a dodge. :

Ford is number one in sales. Always will be. I don't care what anyone posts. In the truck segment Ford still has it. We have bought a bunch of these trucks and facts are the facts. Dodges were THE WORST by a landslide. They have gotten better but still have a ways to go. Chevy is a pretty good product. They are the most improved but still lack on the power end and also brakes were awful. I do have a few Chevys out there right now and they seem to be doing well aside from the brake issues. Guys will not drive a dodge if I buy one. Tried it and had to send it back. Our Fords have continued to do great service. Very tough truck with a lower operating cost than the others. We are 90% Ford right now. The guys like the ride a lot and this is what they want. When I read something like this I don't care what GunBummer says. This is coming from someone that has bought only 1 truck in probably the past 10 years. Talk to someone that has bought 100 of them and thats where you get your facts. I don't care what anyone says. Money talks and the fords ride the best, look the best, and perform the best. The Chevys are close though. I plan to of course keep buying the fords and chevys but there won't be a dodge here at all. Those trucks are forbidden. I don't care how cheap they are. I can't afford the down time and high cost of repairs after warranty. Everyone loves their brand though. They will stick with a brand wether its a terd or not. If Chevy does a better job than Ford then we will buy more of them. If Dodge does then I will run them fully. I will admit though Dodge has a LONG ways to go for that though. I think Chevy/gms will get their stuff straight. The Duramax is a good motor. That new 6.7 diesel from ford is stout as hell. We love it. Love the cummins but its in the wrong the truck. To each his own. Just telling everyone the deal from someone that has run a lot of them.

Ford has moved ahead for sure, it figured out how to make the new 2015 truck bodies out of BigR's recycled aluminum beer cans

They all will be beer can trucks before its all said and done. With the stringent federal emissions and fuel standards from that president you voted for, the heavy duty trucks have challenges ahead of them. In my opinion, emissions for diesels are killing the diesels. Its just too much heat for them. Now they are cutting weight where they can for the fuel mileage. I just chuckle when I see these commercials chevy is putting out showing they are steel and how great that is as we know they are in the background testing getting ready for alum bodies. A lot of high end cars have been made from alum for years. Alum bodies are nothing new and will be the future.

There is ONLY one American car company left...FORD....Government Motors Corp & UAW Chrysler took tax payer money to bail their sorry asses out for piss poor business practices. Not only did they take the money they have not even paid it back

The emissions are not killing the diesels, the epa is, as an example the 2015 dodge 6.7 met epa standards for emissions without def, but the epa said use it anyway and the emissions went up, lol.I was a die hard ford man all my life, until I bought a 6.0 diesel new in 04, I will never own a Ford after the way they treated me. For every one that loves one brand there is always another that doesn't, just like sxs's. My dodge has 203k on it and has never let me down, I know others who can't say the same.

I have been a ford guy for along time. I had F150 that I got 180,000 + mi of trouble free service. Just fluid changes and general maintenance. So I bought 6.4 superduty staying with ford and had nothing but issues related to the engine. Dealer told me it was pattern failure issues. I was out of warranty and they treated me poorly and would not work with me. Even though they were well know design issues causing the failures. So I decided to try Dodge. Well lets just say my 2500 with less than 15,000 mi has now been to the dealer 4 times since the spring ride and now they are rebuilding my transmission. I should have stuck with ford and just not bought a diesel.

Scott, sorry for your woes! I've come to the conclusion that they are all junk. You just luck up once in a while hopefully.

Ya. That is true Goose. They just don't build them like they use to. Profit over quality. I'm hoping to get my truck back maybe this week. Just hope transmission issues will finally be fixed and not reoccur. This is the first car, truck. Or SUV i've ever had to fix the transmission in and i bought I new.

Guys, the 6.7 powerstroke is legit. Ford has built themselves a tried and true engine. Trust me on this one. The 6.0 and the 6.4 was a mistake for sure but they now have the reliability of the 7.3 with all the power you will ever need.

Yea, I know Ronnie. We just got to bash each other once in a while. Lots of friends have the 7.3 with around 300,000 or more and still drive em.
