| I replaced the drivers side tie rod end when I first got the XP 900 from Brownboy, with original Polaris part. It has 3 or 4 weekend rides on it now. It is shot again. Maybe due to me hitting a tree (after a root slid me into it) at a good speed. Just not sure if it is that or is it another junk part Polaris sells.
Question-I just want to know what some of you are having luck with other than Polaris? | |

| Gimpy,
After wasting many tie rod ends (yeah, trees sliding into me, big boulders too...hehe) I went with heim joints.
At first I thought they were the shit. The cure all... but after time, even after I red loctited the bolts, they would come loose to the point that a tie rod dropped into the wheel and poked a hole.
I gave up on them and back to regular tie rod ends.
If you go with the heim joint way, I hope you have better luck than I did.

| I did find out it was the nut that came loose. I was ready to put Super Daves on after they came in the mail yesterday. I put red lock tight on the bolt. Hope that will hold it. | |

| Les , heim joints are better , but on the stock ones. there just dry joints. if you take a grease needle and go under the boot and shoot a little grease in them , they will last a pretty long time.... | |
