| I pretty sure most everyone on this site is interested in more speed out of their SXS. For my job I need one that will handle smoothly at low speeds the current SXS being used wants to lunge and jumps like a bucking bronco at low speeds. Can someone suggest a good SXS preferably one that can be enclosed that is up to the job? Thanks in advance for any suggestions Brent

| This is going to be the first time I have ever suggested this but...... Go test drive a Honda Big Red. They have a much different transmission. I have not drove one but it has a hydraulic torque converter instead of a system of pulleys and belts. It might be a lot smoother. Not sure but I would give it a test. | |

Yep, I would second the Honda test drive for what you are doing with it.

| Also as horrible as it sounds go test drive a honda Big Red. If it is just gonna be a workhorse then its purpose built for that and with the hydro tranny it has a ton of torque and should be very smooth | |

The newer model might be an improvement from the 2001 I am currently using. May have to test a new one and see if improvements have been made. - Big-R wrote:

Only issue I have with the Big Red is I can’t find a hard enclosure. But the fact of a torque converter does sound smooth. | |

| Is there any chance that your problem is the 6x6 part. Maybe the extra set of tires falling in ruts and holes? | |
