I have used an accountant for over twelve years. Make sure you find a liberal one. That is the only thing in my life that I want liberal. Then need to bend the rules not break. | |

| Yeah Buddy, BIG TIME. I pay about $100 to a local firm that does my taxes each year. They got me $1,800 one year that I didn't know about. And the IRS sent me a nasty gram telling me that I OWED them the $1,800. I took the letter down to their office and one of their bean counters (Good looking blond) got in the car with the wife and I and we all went to the local Fed Building and IRS office. That gal raised more hell than the third monkey on the gang plank of Noah's Ark with those people. When we were leaving, it was all yes sir, thank you sir and all that crap. We won big time. I'm very happy with the service I get from this firm. | |

| I went to school when I had some businesses, along with my regular job, learned how to do my own. Later I got an accountant to do mine. I had to correct his calcs twice. He still got it wrong. Found a super lady who worked for the IRS for years. She knows her poop. I usally get 3 to 5 grand back. But I pay a lot during the year too. Also have a small business on the side. It helps a lot. | |
