| Posting for a buddy of mine. 2005 Allegro ONLY 9220 miles 20K Obviously with that many miles, I'm sure it's going to need "some" work (awning needs replaced) He's put new tires on it and it's in GREAT shape. His name is Rick and his phone number is (704) 320 4859 I've seen these for about 35K on average but with 45-55K miles on them. Thought I'd pass this on... | |

| Well, the wife has said that we can go get this thing if it checks out and the guy still has it Saturday. I'm not sure how I feel about the Chevy 8.1 Workhorse chassis though. It does have an Allison transmission. Any insight from motorhome guys? | |

| No. I wouldn't need it anymore and would need the space to park the RV. | |

| Mine. Going to go pick it up next week. Got a few things to fix but nothing big. It is ten years old and a little dated in the interior. | |

I guessing the wife will be riding more....... That's my hope. While my cargo trailer conversion is adequate for our needs, it is a little claustrophobic for her when four people are in there. She says she would be more apt to come if she were more comfortable.

| Got served some venison at 70 mph yesterday evening bringing the rig home from Charlotte. Fiberglass does not hold up well to that kind of abuse. | |

18, 000 lbs>>>>>>>>>> 125 lbs so you dont think you can put this heart back in the deer. drug the deer out of the road and it was jello from its neck to hind legs. when i went back to the car i see this in the middle of the road 30ft from where the deer was.

| At the time it happened I was just sick to my stomach and didn't really even want to look at it, much less take pictures. My dad and I went and picked it up Friday afternoon, put a new battery in and duct taped it together enough to get it home. There's a good bit of fiberglass damage low on the passenger side, part of the grill was knocked out, windshield washer tank crushed, lights knocked out of the sockets, and battery crushed, but it was all cosmetic. The body shop is wanting to replace the entire front end cap but after surveying everything I do not believe that is necessary. And I keep reading horror stories about constant leaking whenever the caps are replaced. I think I am going to do the repairs myself and pocket the insurance settlement. Hey, if Big-R can build a stereo out of fiberglass then surely I can do a few simple repairs, right? And you know what? Worst case scenario I spend a couple hundred on a vinyl front end bra and cover it all up. But not before I build a Mad Max bumper for the damn thing. Why in the hell they build these things out of flimsy fiberglass without any type of protection is beyond me.
Oh, I was going to take pictures of it this morning for you Les, but it was raining like hell. It'll be dark before I get home so maybe I'll get a few tomorrow.

| It's hard to see the full extent unless you are up close. There's cracking in the gel coat in the corners around all the openings including both grill sections, the "hood", and the lights. The light housings are broken at their attachments, that's why they are all crooked. And the old battery... | |
