| Thought long and hard about a new machine and could not justify it given what I've already got in this one. So, it only makes sense to sink mo money into it Going to install RCV axles and DC Motorsports billet front diff for our Moab trip. Then after we get back going to install 300M tans shaft, trans gear reduction, & stronger reverse chain. | |

| If I remember correctly, it was that same rock garden that was responsible for you upgrading to the Jagged X in the first place. | |

| After dropping the skids and cleaning her up I noticed a few things. The stock Polaris rack is cracked AGAIN....POS thin cast rack cracks around the bolt hole boss. So mo money yet again, fixed right this time with a Gearone billet rack. Also ordered a few more things, RCV ball joints, greaseable U joints, got a new carrier bearing rom Chad, Trail control shifter, and the frot diff is off to DC Motorsports....expensive week.....MOAB better be a LOT of fun | |

No shit, between, work, fixing the RZR, and adding stuff to Michele's kitchen in the trailer time is short. | |

| So all the pieces are in hand, time to start putting it back together Gearone rack, another quality company with great products The owner DC Motorsports seems like a really good guy, very knowledgeable on the Polaris diff. Can't beat the warranty, "if it ever breaks I'll fix it free". Great customer service, took the time to talk about exactly what he does to them and how it's made. Great turn around....one day. | |

| Weekend recap: Starts off by wifey giving me her cold.....thanks hun! Get up Saturday morning like a kid on Christmas ready to put on the new stuff. Before putting in the new diff I figured I replace the U-Joints. Removed the driveshaft and inspected them and they seemed fine. Figured what the hell I have new greasable U-Joints why not just replace it will only take a few minutes. Mistake ONE.....NEVER fix what's not broke. While pressing out the old U-joint of the yoke I failed to see I forgot to remove one of the c-clips, resulting in squashing the yoke..... So I spent the next 5 hours heating, stretching, and cussing the ****ing thing back out but finally got it back right. Wasted all day Saturday ***ing with something that was not broke to start with Sunday....got up early and went had breakfast and ready to go. Pulled the old rack off and went to put the new one on. One problem, Gearone changed the design where the rodend links into the rack and they forgot to send the adapters. Ok, option one: wait till Monday and overnight a set for Tuesday.....NOPE.... Option two....looked around the shop and found some 3/4" SS stock and make them. So I spent all afternoon on the lathe turning down adapters so my rodends would work. So I spent all weekend cussing while messing with stuff I should not have had to and coughing and blowing snot! Stock Polaris POS rack - second one broke in the same spots...the mounting holes | |

| Do you think that the portals had anything to do with the rack breaking? Or did you wedge your tire against a big ass rock? | |
