I could see where this would be awesome. Especially for those of us with Harnesses.

My steering wheel felt good when I could "Git up on it." Now with the Harness on it is not feeling real good to me where it is at.

Hey Yank, I've got your mod, it's free and will lower the wheel about an inch plus. You can loosen the mounting-plate, behind the dash, 4-bolts, also loosen the steering-shaft U-joint there. Remove the two bottom bolts and shim the plate on the forward end, I used a spacer on each side. When you loosen the plate you will see what i mean, the wheel will drop. There is enough play in the groove on the shaft at the U-joint to let the wheel go down.

Marty , I had the same problem in my outlaw camaro. remember the sholder straps are to hold
you in place. but thay dont haft to have you pined in the seat.
its not like you are going 200 MPH. just loosen them up where you can move a bit.
Trust me , if you roll it . you ant going no where.

Chris, No now it is in the center. Most 660's I've seen the colum comes out-d-hole at the top. Not sure why....... But now I'm centered and anally correct!!!!!!

And coming.

Last night in the chat, Yank said, "I'm ready to ride boys." I'm still laughing on that one.
