Going to start looking for a clutch kit. What does everyone have and how do you like it?

Stock clutching was good and even had no trouble turning the 29s but I smoked the poo  out of the new gates belt in Pritchett a few different times. scratch that was a hell of a day. But it was fun Embarassed

I have looked at the Duraclutch a few times and I think that is the direction I will go when a change is made!

I went with the dura clutch a year ago , works great and the best engine break I have ever had. (it wont let go going down hill) .  talk with todd at hunter works he will set it up for the way you ride and the tire size and elevation if needed. the man knows his clutches !!

I have followed pushrod a lot and I can say he hardly ever hits his brakes, on steep downhills, when I am riding mine (stock set up) in basically the same XP900. The price has me thinking twice along with the knowledge/time to install the kit. I am like you bush, I smell my belt frying many a times when I am creeping up hill or restarting on a steep hill climb. When I switch to 30's someday soon, I will probably have to go to the clutch kit.

on the dura clutch, the belt is engaged all the time, the primary clutch also has a clutch built in, and a sprag bearing  that is a one way clutch for the engine breaking. that's why you get the smooth starts,, no jerking ,  kind of like the clutch in a Honda. check out the vidieos on u tube. they aint cheap, but if you have to replace all the clutches, its about the same money, and comes with a new belt.

you have to buy a clutch puller to pull the primary clutch, (todd hasem). the secondary , just take the bolt out and pull the clutch off. I think it only takes about a hr. . takes longer to get to it than it does to change it. (be sure to torque the two clutch bolts) wah la, u is done. now lets go drive
