| i know my belt gets so hot i can only touch it for about 5 sec. and the cover gets just as hot | |

| Should not be a problem. There is a lot of air that moves through that housing. Just dont put a filter on it. | |

| IMO - unless you ride a ton in the sand or REALLY dusty conditions - the filter does more long term harm than good - cause it doent allow the belt to breathe as well....
now - if oyu ride in the desert, or the dunes a bunch, or REALLY dusty conditions - different story. | |
