| I have a slow air leak in a front tire. I was going to put some fixaflat in it but saw some tire slime. Which would be better? I have aluminum wheels will the tire slime or fixaflat hurt them? | |

| I hate both of them, but I have to use the tire changer from time to time. Air it up to about 20 psi and spray it with soapy water and see if you can find the leak. Then you can patch or take to a tire shop and they can fix it pretty cheap. I see you live in Richmond, you are welcome to give me a call and I would be happy to help ya out if you want. | |

| NO SLIME OR FIX A FLAT - EVER (unless you have no patch or plug kit on the trail - and some joker has some goo) Fix it right....find the leak....plug it....patch it....or have a tire shop fix it - should be nor more than $20 or so.... If its a slow leak - it may be a seal/bead issue from a slightly bent rim - if thats the case - not the too much you can do - except bang the rim (hopefully its stock ) Or again - take it to a tire shop - BUT DO NOT BUY THE SLIME OR THE FOAM!! | |

| i used slime in the rear tires on an old 400EX. once i got to third gear it would all spin to one side, just like a washing machine out of balance. im suprised the axle bearings didnt come flying out it shook so much. slime is good for a riding mower | |
