VDI for Grizzly 700 in production Empty
PostSubject: VDI for Grizzly 700 in production   VDI for Grizzly 700 in production EmptyTue Oct 14, 2008 10:18 am

The Grizzly unit is in production, and will be ready by Nov 1. We do have the dyno sheet for it on our website, and you can read about it on the products page, you just cannot order it yet.

You can email us to get on the list, but we should have able supply when they are out of production on Nov 1.

The grizzly is different from the Rhino in that it uses a totally different injector. The injector in the Grizzly is 40lbs/hr, and has the same flow pattern as the M109, so I doubt there would be a gain in swapping the unit. The Rhino used an injector similar to the KQ (lower flow, and the 4 hole spray pattern).

You are going to notice a stronger bottom end, and better throttle response. You should also see a decrease in fuel consumption (depending on how you ride). There is a noticeable seat of the pants acceleration difference with our unit in there as well.

We removed the limiters (reverse, diff lock, etc), and allow you to calibrate the speedo for different sized tires.

The speedometer functions as normal. You don't get the missing "R" like in the older grizzly mods. In addition you can adjust the speedometer compensation to allow the ECU to compensate for oversized tires (so your speedometer reads correctly).
