About the same Id say since the rubber compound is about the same. You must ride a lot of paved roads.

I just sold a set and I thought the compound was a little soft. They really were not that bad though. I looked at some pictures when I bought it and the tread wasn't much different at all and we do have to ride some paved roads at times in WV. They had 900 miles or so and still had at least 70% I'd say. They hook up great too!

That said, I went with a set of Bighorns in replacement because of the reported durability.

I just got a set of Terracross mounted on black SS212 in 26-9-12 and 26-11-12. I can't wait to try them out. Paved roads sure will eat up tires, but I do not ride the hardball nearly as much as I did when I lived in WV. I would go for 10 miles or more on the roads out in the country and never think twice. Now I guess maybe I am either wiser or a little gunshy of a cop just trying to hassle riders. Cop

Most cops I have run into have been cool. Only one ever really gave me any major grief and he was a retired deputy sheriff.
