Subject: 2009 rhino updates! Sat Dec 13, 2008 5:04 pm
As many of you know I have been debating the purchase of a new rhino. After looking at all of the changes that have been done I have amde up my mind. I have decided to buy a new one. I am blown away at all the small changes that have improved the rhino. My last decision will now be do I upgrade to get the silver SE or not. It runs about $1500 more. I like the shocks, rear led backup lights, etc. I believe I will sleep on it and make a decision in about a week.

Yep, Yamaha has definately got the Rhino fine tuned. Sure will make a nice Christmas present.

It would be tough not to go with the Teryx if I were buying another new machine

rhinoguy i think i would go with the base and add what you want to it.
i am hopeing to to buy a new sxs next year and will be picking between the rhino and 09 teryx. if i was to go today i think it would be another rhino because it fairly easy to work on and is a proven machine but i am going to see how the 09 teryx holds up and see if anything else comes out.

I'd go with the Sport. The silver plastic does not scratch near as easy as the plain red or green, the sport-rezzies smoke the stockers, you get a roof and it looks better than the other ones,shift-knob, steering wheel insert, blah blah blah all worth 1500.00 hundred more IMO.

When I was at the Yamaha dealer I looked at the silver model and thought boy this is a nice ride. It would be my choice if I were to buy a new '09 Rhino.
