| I have seen it done several different ways, some just zip-tie the ballast to the top of the radiator support. You can get pretty creative on these because you do have a little extra wire, just make sure the wires are not going to rub or get pinched. Dont touch the bulbs! | |

| Do the HID really put out that much light? More light than the stock to make it worth the cost of them? | |

| Tim, you can't compare the HID's to stock, its like comparing a candle to a light house.
I mounted mine on the uprights on each side of the radiator. I will try to snap some pics tonight.

That depends on the manufacturer, I have the dirt lights conversion and the ballasts are waterproof and can be mounted anywhere. They have been under water and under mud MANY times and never had an issue. I did have a bad connection in the wiring harness and they sent a new one out next day air at no charge to me.

| I was being safe. A- I'd dont like the look of them exposed. B-The dryier the better IMO. C- Mine have a 2-year warranty, but what good is that when they malfunction and don't work?? D- Mine weren't but 119.00 and have worked flawlessly since day one. I just couldn't see paying 2,3 hundred dollars for lights, when they all work the same. |

uh-oh shawn this sounds like a problem for you, since your rhino seems like a magnet for mud and water

| Mine catch plenty of mud and water mounted there and get sprayed with the pressure washer too. No problems yet. I hope to avoid them being submerged in water for any period of time. I would have to be in waist deep water for that to happen. All in all, the look like they are sealed pretty good. | |

| They are talkin about a different brand. You have Eagle Eye, you will be fine to mount them exposed to the elements. | |

| P.S.
I should be giving these flares a small scale test ride because I'm taking the rhino to the mudhoel tomorrow as the get around vehicle and I usually play around a little bit while we're out there
