Ever think that maybe this thing was shelved when Yamaha found out about the CPSB coming out with the spacer and sway bar recommendations for the Rhino? Maybe they had to rethink the design on the new one after that.

I know we have all seen this pics but they have not been posted up on our site. I was looking at my rhino the other day trying to figure out how to get a V in there. If you look at the console on these pics, it could work........

it is definately a wider machine.

There very well might be one in there Ronnie. Why would they build such an over-stated console with the shifter way up there??? I'm highly suspisious after all the "They won't go any bigger because of the lawsuits" crap. Yamaha knows it would be the talk of the world if there's a v-twin in there. Nobody expects it.
The bomb may very well be on it's way. I'm hopeful.

my local dealer know me real well.i make all there keys for there bikes that the loose.he told me that they MIGHT have a 800 v twin in the works.i was asking how much i could get a 09 sport for.he told me i really needed to wait for the 2010s to see what i thought about them

They put a twin in and I will be on that like white on rice. Power steering to boot........

Look for the 700 four seater, and the F.I. 550 to replace the 450's.

Yeah, I was sitting in my Rhino thinking If you made the console bigger and longer you could keep the air intake and add a V. Then I went back a looked at these pics and thought Hum....

I was once a factory-support rider, I've got some decent contacts myself..................Mums the word............In 97, before the revolutinary YZF400 came out in 98, it was the same way..........Yamaha's not stupid and very, very undercover as far as new/up-dated releases go. The pictures above, IMO are bait..........................

I would really like to see them come out with a 900cc FI twin and a 550cc FI single that both used the same running gear, like the 660/450 models did. This crap of 450s and 700s not being the same is a PITA. For example, I had to return the rear stickstoppers for my 2008 450 to TrailLogic because he sent me the ones for a 2008 700fi...

A 550fi with 450 gearing would be a sweet work/play machine...

As far as we know the stick stoppers should be the same, the ones we sell fit all Rhino's.

I suppose it could be how they mount them.

I was told just a little while ago by a VERY good source that the 2010 Rhino would not be out until January. I got no further details.

If that is true, they are definately up to something.

I can see that, being they put the whole line on hold for so long, they probably need the time to finish out the 09 line and get them sold while they gear up for the 2010 model release.

The 2010 dealer show is sept the 8th. Motorcycles and atv's. Rhinos?? Dunno. I put a feeler out.
