| I have a used, but never used Warn 2500 winch on my 2005 King Quad. Would it do the job on my Rhino? If so, what all would I have to buy besides the mounting plate? Just curious. I never had to use it on the King. I figure its very likely that I will use a winch on the Rhino. What do you think?

| I think it'd be Ok Clay. The best choice, no, but it should be able to get ya out of a stuck. All you should need is the mounting-plate. |

| Im contimplating buying a Larger Gorilla or one of the other brands. Neighbor has a 3500lb Gorilla. Never had a problem. Got him out of many a pickle. I am not going to drop a small fortune in to a new Warn. | |

| Clay, you are the ebay king. If you are patient you can find the Warn 3.0 on there cheap. I got the 3.0XT (synthetic and wireless remote) for right at 400 with shipping. I was pretty pleased with that deal. | |

| Clay, Get yourself a snatch block of 2 and some extra straps, then the 2500 should be a formiddable winch. | |

| the 2500 warn will work fine. i had one on my rhino for 3 or 4 years and it never left me stuck. the reason i took it off is because i had to take a bolt out of it to get one of my a arm bolts out and when i took the bolt out the nut that was inside the winch fell out of place and i had to take it apart to find the nut and put it back in place. and after that it would not pull like it did. i am going to fix it someday and my put it on the rzr. | |

| I have had a 2500 warn on mine from the time it was new, it has pulled me out and up a few hills, never let me down yet.
I would put the 2500 on and use it, like was said get a couple of snatch blocks just in case, one snatch block can double the winches capacity... | |

| Save your money and keep the warn. Buy a sntch block, it can be used for many things. | |

| I too have a Warn 2500 I stole off my Rancher. It will work. However get a quaility snatch block for those "extra tough" spots to get out of. I have had to use the snatch block a couple of times when the 2500 alone wouldnt pull it out. | |
