| does anybody have any input on these tires i'm getting ready to order a set and can't make up my mind! both are radials. reptiles are approx. $11.00 a tire cheaper but not sure how they compare. cheaper is not always better. | |

Are you sure the grim reapers are radials? I do like the look of the tire.....

| xtr's are great for slopping around in the mud but to expensive for what they are. not building a mud bogger looken more for high speed trails.alot of other tires will perform just as well or better in sertan area's for alittle less money. depending on what you use them for. thanks for the input though i did look at those.i happen to be on a little bit of a budget. i know gbc makes a real good tire for there applications. just wasn't sure about interco. | |

| I've got the Grim Reapers on my Prowler and couldn't be happier. They handle great at full speed, do well in the mud and snow I've had them in so far. Highly recommend them. [img] [/img] | |

| I just got a set of 26 inch GBC's Grim Reapers and installed them today on 14 inch itp wheels which seem to be great so far. The reason I don't run the xtr's or any other general mud tire is because of side bite the mud tires tend to slide down a hill side when you try to cross one so I always look for something with good side bite to stick a little better. Another thing with a mud tire is they tend not to do as good in reverse and I have found my self in several places where I had to back up a hill and out. The Terracross did good with that but the grim reapers look like they will be a little more aggressive in the mud. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] | |

| I really like the Reptiles Clay has. BUT....GBC makes tires that last. It would be a tough call. I would say go with the one you think makes your bike look meaner. Be aware......GBC traditionally run a little small. I am not sure if that holds true on the Grim Reaper or not. | |

| I measured mine after installing and with 15 psi they stand just under 26 1/2 inches on the claimed 26. these tires are slightly taller than my 26 inch terracross xd's . | |

| Just my .02. I would run anything GBC makes. I have a set of XTR;s right now and wish I didnt. If GBC would make something in a 14 in rim and a 28 in tire I would have them on my ride right now. I think the XTR's are over ratted. I have holes in 3 out of 4. 2 of the 3 are in the side wall. I will never have them again. | |

There ya go. You are almost getting a 27" tire with 26's. I had two sets of Dirt Devils. They were good tires but they ran small. Bear Claws by Kenda is the best all-around ATV tire out there IMO, but I do not know how they would hold up to the additional weight of a UTV.
