There are many of us that have been in these situation with or with out beer. These things can happen when you ride hard. It would be tough for some to understand......

Clay -- you just earned 4 more cool stars in my book. I slid down 75 the other weekend and hated that hill when slick and muddy. Doing it at night takes a huge set of nads! You Rock! As a side note you might wanna junk those sissy tyres....

How about you bring your candy a$$ up and push up on this RZR boy. Hows that Clay?

Tires or no tires......Clay was coming up every hill behind me, some with less trouble than I was having with my big cleated Mud Wolf.

Okay guys. I am going to shut this thread down if we get nasty. I encourage us to kid around with our buddies but I don't want us to get out of hand. It doesn't matter who we are talking about. Lets keep it friendly please....

All I got to say is I don't care if I ever see trail 75 again I did not have any problem going up it in my RZR but I won't lie I was SKEERED and if I go back to Brimstone I won't try it again

We went up it wet and in the dark. Tim and made it that was it. Tim was first I was second then it was to slick for anyone else. Boy what a hill....

I have yet to see it, but if it is much worse than what we did Saturday, I am not sure I want any of that. I am no chicken, but I also don't like the idea of a totalled Rhino and me in the hospital. I know for sure I would not like to climb some of those hills on my King Quad. That thing is light in the front end and I know I would be wrestling to keep it down up some of those hills.

LT, 87Y is steeper and much longer that 75. But 75Y is BAD!!

This is me close to the top of 75Y. Been there, done that. Dont care if I ever try it again!!

What was your first thought when you got to the bottom of that hill...... " should I turn around and go back????"

Looks like them front tires was bearly on the ground....

No. It was real dusty and I was the last one up. Its not to bad at the bottom so I hit it in 2wd. Jimmy was in front of me and when his dust cleared I saw a WALL in front of me. I hit the 4wd botton and let off the gas for a split second for it to engage then I put it to the MAT! It was a heck of a RUSH

I am going to have to see this for myself. I think I would like to do it when it was a little drier though.......

Your right Chris. When Stacy went up it in the RZR he said his front tire just patted the ground all the way. Mike clipped one of the trees at the top and just about climbed it. That would have been BAD. There were some locals watching us, they said we couldnt make it, and after we did one of them tried it on a Raptor. He didnt make it and barrel rolled down and hit a big tree. The guy was ok and said "Danm, I've tried that hill several times and I've never made it"

Like I said. Been there, done that. Never again...........

My problem with 75 is the root sticking up approx 30 feet before the top. That hill is a pain when wet.

The group I rode with also encountered one trail that we could not go up when wet due to being 100% tree roots. I have never seen anything like it. Brimstone definitely has it's challenges. That is why I want to go back this year. It is 750 miles roundtrip but worth it!

I broke a rear axle on that tree root hill roamerr. It was 5* that day and it snapped like a twig. Thanks to MarkW I made it out in time to get a new one for the ride the next day!

I can see breaking an axle. That root changes the hill to straight up +. I hit the root and it stopped my Can-am. I guess I should have been going faster. I started spinning and then slid to the bottom with wheels turning forward. Not comfortable at all!
