Keep in mind that this will all be 1/4" molded plastic diamond board when it is finished and the sides will be completely closed off and it will have a hinged door from the inside of the cab for access and sealing purposes. The material wont be here until Wed. or Thurs. so as soon as i get it all done I will update the pics. This will be one solid unit from the rear all the way through, the roof and box is all one.

Any input is welcome.

One thing about a 4 seater, your always looking for storage space. I understand the convienance factor, but I think I would have hung it off the back.

Only addition I'd make, of course you'd have to reprogram for each new destination...

I already have the cooler rack in the rear so i needed to get some of the weight up front for the steeper hill climbs. Thanks for the opinion.

I also want to move my radio up:)

You mean like the "all sand riders" in the desert I assume, and I agree because it provides a lot of cover from the sun.

Even before the bus sign I thought that would be good place to mount some lights. Can't wait to see the finsihed product

I am 5' 10". Im sure that if I was not wearing my seat belt and hit a big bump it would be possible to hit my head. I wear my belt and a helmet:)

Sorry Dreth,wasnt trying to insult any of our Florida brothers on SouthernSXS ,of coarse i meant the west coasters ,duners ,sanders, desert rats ,sand fleas. whatever they call that type of riding. that top will be the cats a-- for a four seater !!

Never took it as an insult, I felt that it was the duner style you were speaking of. Us here in Florida are kinda the same way except we have some vegetation:) My primary riding spot has trails that are wide enough for an Army Tank and very few tree covered areas so it will fit our needs very well. This top will have 12, 10mm socket bolts holding it in place for quick and easy removal if need be.

I think your on to something here......

I am getting close to being finished. It has taken much longer than originally planned due to the sweet upgrades. Be patient..............hopefully the pics will be up tomorrow night. I am also building another water and dust tight box for another location..................be patient.........they will come:) I am WAY over budget, at this point I have around $400 wrapped up in it:(
