| It is by no means a toy hauler, but I think I could "rough it" in this for a night or two. I have been in the field for extended periods of time without a shower and have slept many a night on the ground. This is like the Hilton on wheels to a hillbilly on a budget. | |

| LT, I've been thinking about an LA. Guard Dog for use with my Rhino on my utility trailer also. I don't have a tailgate on the trailer and have always thought it would be a good deal. Just never been lucky enough to know someone that has one before. Really like to hear how you like it. Don't worry as much about theft as an added safety measure. I use a big steel cable and GIANT lock through the buggy frame and around the front frame of the trailer for that. Ya just can't be too safe I don't think. If one of both of my ratchet straps would ever fail I'd be screwed without that cable also. | |

Yeah, it will be all self-sustained. I have a 8k watt generator for power, or I can plug into power that is already at a campsite. It is not as nice as a real camper, so I am not going to cringe every time I get into it with a little bit of dirt on my boots, but still nice enough that I am not ashamed that my wife and I sack out in it. The camp kitchen has not been used yet, but I did take it out and set it up. It is nice.....even has a sink in the middle so you can wash dishes if you want.

The trailer dog is nice. The only problem I see with it is that sometimes it is a slight pain in the arse to line up your rear hitch with the arm (left to right). If you have two people it is easier, and also you can slide the Rhino right to left a couple of inches with two people. All in all I think it is a very nice product. It definitely keeps the Rhino locked into place.

| Got the water system bugs worked out last night. I fired up the pump and the Hot Water on Demand system. About 5 seconds later it was throwing some really toasty water out of the shower head with a very nice flow. My wife had a big grin on her face so I guess that means it gets her approval. | |
