Rain

How often does it rain on yall up in Tenn while your out riding. What do u do 2 stay dry?

Can't say about Tenn. but in West Virginia there have only been like 2 days this month that it hasn't rained here. Keeps old farts like me in the house a lot. Only thing worse than getting old, is NOT getting old!

take a cheaper rainsuit that you dont mind gettin muddy rubber boots a top and windshield are nice but not a necessary item. lots of change of clothes for the next day ride. once your wet or muddy oh well enjoy and have fun!!

That about sums it up. I have a rain suit and I always wear my waterproof boots.

A rain suit this time of the year, in the summer its not needed and too hot. During the winter waterproof outerwear and good boots.

I dont like to play in the mud, i will go through it if it is the only way but i definately dont look for it. I am more talking about a passing shower, i wont ride in the rain for any other reason then i am already out and there is no end in sight.
I know, what kind of a sissy dont like the mud..............well its the kind that does not like to clean

I freakin hate the mud! BUT, if it comes down to riding in the rain or staying home on the couch, I will take the riding and 4 hour cleanup everytime. I guess maybe it is the fact that I missed an entire year of riding and I am getting ready to miss another whole year. I don't give a damn what the weather throws out there.........anything short of a tornado I will be out there.

WELL, I put on my raincoat/rain suit or poncho.... and ride anyway....
but some of us(not naming names) (heh-heh) dont even unload... they
turn around and go back home.....!!! heh-heh....

I didnt know that you knew me so well I have driven 450 miles one way only to sit in the motorhome and play cards.

it has not rained much the last few years.
but it has rained alot since spring. even though we need it.
it has rained almost everyday for 2 weeks. and frankly
i am tired of it. makes grass grow to fast.....

sit on the porch and catch up on times with old grandad, cousin jack, grill a steak and potato, throw some darts, listen to http://www.hay98.com/ thump on the tub if jim beam shows up . Thats in Tn tho

I am looking forward to a weekend just like that over at your place Rob..........hopefully real soon!

Put the Frogg Toggs on, put Rain-X on the windshield and ride on. keep both in the dry box ready to go. Besides, I hate the dust. If it comes a down pour, find a cave and have lunch. the down pours don't last long.
