Watch the Teryx in the back -- almost swamps it, then it starts blowing white smoke pretty bad....

I've never understood the attraction of risking the damage to your equipment... I can see needing to ford a stream or something, but...

The intake is about shin high in the console and the belt exhaust is about the same height under the bed.<br /><br />Thats exactly what he did by the way..... The 09 models have a higher exhaust duct by about 8 inches.<br /><br />The ones I made up are about titty high.....its silly stupid easy to do too....no cutting required at all. Cost about 30 bucks and took 2 hours.<br /><br />You hear alot of people having belt issues, and here is the deal with that. They come half ass adjusted to begin with, then they call for a belt adjustment at 20 hours. This is usually just removing the smallest washer off of the secondary pully. Its labor intensive....so most dealers say they do it at your 20 hour service but dont. Thats why I do all my maintanace myself. The belt stretches the first 20 hours....then settles in after that.<br /><br />I think even the manual states checking it at a 200 hour interval.....dont say a thing about the first 20 hour service.
