| Is it a completely different mount for a winch on the S model? I have a mount here and I cannot figure it out. It does not seem to fit like the picture says. | |

| As far as I know the mounting kit for the regular RZR is the same for the S. What does your mounting kit look like. You can go to www.motoalliance.com and look and see if your mounting kit for the RZR looks the same. That is the winch I mounted on mine. You have to have a specific mounting hardware for the RZR | |

| The mounting kit is from KFI. They are the same manufacturers I ordered my Rhino mount from. It is model-specific to the RZR, but I cannot seem to see it coming together. | |

| well I went to KFI's web site and it is the same mount I used to install my winch. The mount is hard to put in becuase you dont have alot of room to work with. It should work though. | |

| Gonna give it another look today. I was hot and my patience was wearing thin at the end of the day. I will check it out when I get home from work. I managed to clean up the RZR and get my parking brake installed. My stereo should be here today too so I will most likely have tunes and a winch by the weekend (if I don't have to work too late this week). | |

| Okay, got the winch mount and winch in. I still have to run the wires and mount the contactor. My plan is to mount it under the seat in the storage box. I was going to place the contactor inside a tupperware container and seal it up real good then mount it to the bottom of the box under the seat. The tupperware thing was an idea because after the last ride there was about 3 inches of standing water in there and I know that can't be good for the contactor. Any thoughts? | |

| Probably sounds good but I just mounted mine underneath the seat near the storage box. | |

Lt, another option is the rzr comes with pre-drilled contactor holes on the firewall, it puts it up and out of the way. They are easily accessed by removing the storage tray under the hood. | |

| Gunny, I considered that. Unfortunately my winch was a 2.5 kit that was designed for an atv so my red and black wires are very short. I cannot mount my contactor that far away from the battery. I was under the dash last night and saw those holes. Polaris has some ingenius stuff on the RZR. | |
