| thats watt i would do too.... why put a lot into something like this when it could be manipulated into some type of mud or water, or even easlily stolen. if anything like this happens, it wont hurt as bad. | |

could be manipulated into some type of mud or water, or even easlily stolen. if anything like this happens, it wont hurt as bad. If you can steal it....you can have it. It is bolted to the rollbar and you have to remove the roof to get it out. I see your point. 400 is quite a bit of money..........but in the overall grand scheme of things...is it?? 13k for the toy......what is 400 extra for the stereo.......and I am happy. Since I paid for it I guess that is all that really matters. My kid is not going to miss any meals because I bought it. I also have insurance that covers accessories.

Well that will not be easy since the volume knob and I-pod charger will cost about 70 bucks. The amp is 30ish. Then you need speakers. You will be over 100 bones

| Ronnie, the speaker bar you have (the one in my brother's Rhino that was mine) is at least 169. I am sure if you can build your own speaker setup you can get by cheaper. The way I figured mine was how much I spent on my old setup in the Rhino:
Deck with CD and MP3 input- 90 bucks Enclosure with faceplate- 90 bucks Soundbar- 170 bucks
The setup I bought for the RZR cost me 400 with the mounts. It has the deck (radio, cd, MP3), amp, speakers and all the wiring (coated in thick rubber to prevent rubbing). It was made to fit right on the RZR and it did not require me to cut anything. It is enclosed and up out of the way. I am happy.

Nice looking setup, Lt.... I seriously considered one for my Rhino but was concerned about how much headroom it took up. But,that doesn't seem to be an issue for you because of the angle of the rollcage/roof on the RZR. I really like the idea of it being totally selfcontained and up out of the way with only a power lead going to it. Can you add a dome light to it? That'd be sweet...

Can you add a dome light to it? That'd be sweet... I bought some LED lights that I am going to use as interior lights. I will try to post some pics when I get it all done.
