| Well guys I got the living crap scared outa me Friday after noon. I had been out in the broad ass sun working on my Jet Ski's and trailer. Temp was 107 in the sun on the concrete. I was out there for about 3hrs. Not over doing it at all. I thought.... Well all of a sudden I started blacking out and getting dizzy as hell. I was able to make it over to the fence and fall to the ground. Where I sat and did not move for 30 minutes. Felt nautious as hell and dizzy. Wife drives up and flips out. So I manage to get in the house and shower to cool off. I was big time over heated. I stayed in the bed until this morning (SUN). Thought I was going to need to go to the hospital yesterday... Kept throwing up liquids. Stayed dizzy as hell all day yesteday. Bad Headache too... Let this be a reminder to all of us to not over do it out in this heat. Scared the hell out of me. | |

| Well I'm doing much better. Still have a mild headache. Break out in odd cold sweats, but doing much better. I apparently was Very close to heat stroke. Should have gone in to the E.R and gotten an I.V. But I didnt.... I have been eating Bananas, + drinking Gatorade and Orange Juice since Saturday. Was told to keep it up... Should be ok by this weekend. I have NEVER been so scared in my life. EVER. I was so close to blacking out multiple times. Dont let this sneak up on you guys. 2.5 hrs in 90+ degree temps... on concrete did it to me. I was on vacation the week prior. At the beach and in the sun all week. Drinking Margaritas etc... Got home on a Saturday, went riding my Jet Ski Sunday at the lake. Went and shot Skeet for 5hrs on Wednesday then this hit Friday. I think the heat did it, but I was prob not fully hydrated.... Eiter way..... I will not allow this to happen again. It is for the freaking birds. Thanks for the concern guys. Just dont let it happen to you. | |
