| I'm gonna use this thread to track everything that goes on with the S, good and bad. Anything I've added or took away. So far. Reflective stickers on the front and rear gone. they were barely stuck anyway. All warning stickers gone. Dome-light added. Rearview mirrow added. Adjusted the pre-load, went softer on the compression. Zip-tied rear brake-lines to arms. Set tire pressures to 10, they varied from 12.5 to 17.5 from the factory!!! 19 miles as of tonight. | |

| Ok tonight applied Dielectric-grease to over 30 plugs. I was told, and have witnessed (Thrillseeker) RZR's spitting and sputtering in water. Should I have to do it??? No, but it's not a Yamaha...............So I went into this knowing that. :D | |

| One other thing I noticed today, which did not make me happy. The shocks top-out with a "Clunk". Bottoming is almost non-existent, but a topping clunk is a sure sign of cheap-ness, no internal bump-stop.......... another strike.......... | |

| Pate, would you also try to do a photo journal on the morphing of your machine ? Man i do forgive you for jumping to the dark side as well as the others and if i was just in it for recreational riding i would have an S as well, well maybe :D
But i knew you said something about looking at the ranger xp and was wondering what steered you from that machine.

the shocks have more adjustments than you are aware of, the nut that the click screw is in does something too, the book doesnt tell you. Im doing the research now and will update.

But i knew you said something about looking at the ranger xp and was wondering what steered you from that machine. Honestly Rob, if the dealer would have had an 10 XP800, I would not have ruled it out until a test-ride. He won't get any until November, and the last of the 09 S's would probably be gone by then. So i went ahead and got the S.

is it not to wide?.. No, I don't think so. It hits about the center of the tires. I could chop 2-inches off the ends. I'm just not paying 500.00 for a real bumper. Most mount to the rad-support, you hit something, the rad. explodes............The Pure-Polaris one is a prime example. It's Pure junk........unless you get one of these....
