| Well, I guess I will let everyone in on my project. Now that I have a bet with Gunny My buddy WV Rider came across a great deal on an 08 first gen RZR. So I took it off his hands for him. (what a nice guy I am) But this great deal did have some problems. It is a first gen 08 so guess what. It used oil. So off to the shop we go. I feel that I pick one of the better people out there to wrench on my RZR. They have gone above and beyond to build this thing right. So lets all give a big thanks to Fred and WV Side by Side Customs. Fred and his son jump on this engine to find out all the problems. Lets take a look. Looks like we are going to need a top end. Well, the stock Polaris top end did not work all that well so I decided to go with something else. Trinity Racing Polaris RZR 820cc Big Bore Part: 9Z820K
Includes cylinder, 83mm JE pistons (race or pump gas), and head, base, and exhaust gaskets. This kit was $10 cheaper then the stock po po parts. However, I could not stop there. Sence we have her crack open we might as well add........ Polaris RZR High-Performance Cam Part: n/a
The Stage IV performance cam profile is designed in conjunction with and manufactured by the industry leader, Webcam, and is tuned specifically to complement your modifications and head work.So I told Fred what we were going to add to the car. He said I'll get her ready. He was not kidding. He wanted to really make sure this engine was really for the trails. Now the engine is all clean and ready for the Trinity Big Bore. The only problem is I have to wait 3 to 4 weeks for the cylinders So, I might as well add long travel to it. I bought the Polaris stock S long travel with the WE shocks. So we strip it down and got it ready for the LT kit. I should have tomorrow...... I hope.

That was the whole point Smith. All the who-raw was to miss lead. I am building one bad ass RZR. The Trinity Big Bore, Long travel and Walker shocks are for the RZR. Just received an email from Trinity. My Kit will ship out before next Friday. Long Travel is at Polaris. I will pick it up tomorrow. Now I need to get the lift kit From Racer Tec. Looking good. Who wants to ride?????

| What made you decide on the long travel kit from polaris, I am consedering a lt kit but I just cant make up my mind, I am thinking Racertech nothing wrong with the factory lt but the Racertech seems to be a bit heavier made. I also like the price of the polaris kit, I think I saw it at Breese shocks included for about $2700.00 | |

I went with the Polaris because of budget. I think the Racertech kit is the best one on the market. However, I want to keep this project under a certain price. The Breese Kit..... What shocks did it come with and how much was shipping?

By the way Looking good, cant wait to get to ride with you guys this spring. That is a good price (depending on shipping). I got the Walker Evans. They are about $200 more. The whole kit was $2900.00 Out the door. - mason wrote:

Yeah I know. I have had this machine for a few weeks now. How do you think I found all the stuff about an RZR. I have been looking for myself. And poking fun at the other RZR owners was just a bonus.
