| Well might as well start off from the beggining! I had a 07 Rhino 660 that I loved! Well, after some homegrown hot-rod mods, I had a very good running 660! (Theres alot of free hidden potiential in the 660!) I might make some posts on that later! Well, down at Harlan it died on me going up a pretty decent sized hill. I got fed up with it over that. Then, before I got it fixed, my Yamaha payments went up due to their "awsome" finance plans! So I had my eye on the Rzr "S" for a bit at this point. So due to a good trade in price, I brought home a Rzr "S", 2009 model! I got it with a RZR Tech cage and put on a plastic roof and some home made door panels, and a Holz grill....... Then a trip to a local spot on the river bottom, on some ATV trails led to this!! A complete frame replacment along with a few torn off peices of body work! A Rzr Tech weld in gusset kit was added before reassembly. Then, due to my Hardcore UK fan of a wife.....the new color sceme was a very easy sell! I found someone as soon as the RZR 4 was released that was changing thier plastics and had it shipped from Cali. If you notice the wheels, and I hope you do, I got ALOT of hours in those wheels!! And if anyone can tell me where this last pic was taken....you win.....Nothing! | |

| Thanks! I ground the machine lines out of the wheels then polished and painted and re-polisheds the wheels. I tend to spend more time on a project than most due to my own strive to perfection, even though I know they are gonna be bashed against rock and such!
Still nobody has a good guess at the last pic?

| Well heres my latest project. The Rzr has a coolant temp light built in, but no warning for oil pressure. Ive read a few posts of guys knocking holes in the oil filters. I have also seen oil filters back off. This may not be a big deal on a Rhino, where the oil will hit the exhaust and smoke like crazy (seen it happen!). I also didnt want the cost of an electronic oil pressure gauge. And a mechanical gauge with a tube of pressurised oil running all the way up to the dash, under the floorboards doesnt excite me. So I went this way! I got ahead of myself on a couple things before I took pics. Heres the light I am going to try, its a Maxxima 3 LED truck interior light. I got a few different LED and regular lights from Radio Shack, but none were bright enough to see in the daylight if it were to come on. So here are the other parts to this project. And here is the main oil galley for the crankshaft. This is where a turbo would get its oil from if you had one. The dipstick has to be loosened up (It would be better to just remove it) to install the elbow. Once you get the elbow in and install the bushing from 1/4 npt to 1/8, heres what it looks like. Now heres how it works. Give the light a 12v "key on" power, and the sending unit will ground the other wire if oil pressure falls below 5-7psi, thus turning on the light! Heres normal running condition.... And if the oil pressure were to drop.... | |

No they look good on my lap top. Also, I have only been to Royal Blue once. But I will not ever forget that water fall. It is one of the best I have seen.

| When at Royal did you walk down to Jennings Cascades? That was awsome! I walked all the way down into it.
The waterfall in my pic is the swimming hole, and was shown on Fishers ATV when they went there.

| On a RZR note. When I wired up the LED light, you have to use a "key on" 12v source. I dont like splicing into wires. The RZR fuse box has 3 spare fuse slots. There is no power going to these spare fuse spots. I chose to change that! I wanted a fused circuit for the light. The wire terminals in the spare fuse slots have been crimped down from the factory, and so they cannot be used. After some searching, I found these..... These I found at Pep Boys, Doorman brand. They will work in the Rzr fuse box with a little modification....(if you decide to ever use these let me know, I will tell you what you have to do) I used the power supply wire for the accesory fuse, and bridged it over to my new fuse location (black wire) Then I split the harness cover and ran my new "fused" wire up out of the box to my new oil pressure warning light. This wasnt easy, it takes alot of time, and hurts your back after awhile!! | |

| Well I got it from a truck parts store in louisville that I deal with daily. If you wanted to find one you could get a oil sending unit for a gm car, around say a 91 Chevy Beretta. Autozone will have them, but the only thing is what psi it will trip at.
I might put together a kit and sell this setup.
