| I got my new H/D progressive shocks today and I must say I am really impressed with the ride quality on gravel roads and even the old chip and tar road it is so much smoother. I have not got to ride them on the trails yet but as good as they have done so far I got to say it may be the best mod I have made so far. I took a few measurements before and after installing. The before measurements were done when the rhino had been setting for a couple days and the after were after a 3 miles gravel/chip road ride. The stock shocks were on the middle position all the way around and the progressives were out of the box I have made no adjustments to them yet. Before I had 12 7/8 inch Ground clearance in the rear After I now have 13 1/4 in the rear. Before I had 10 1/2 inch Ground clearance up front After I now have 11 3/8 in the front. so far I gained just over 1/4 inch in the rear and almost 1 full inch in the front These measurements were after the stock springs had 1400 miles on them and 3 on the progressives so I assume the progressives will sag a little over the next 50 miles or so but only time will tell. The springs are marked 110-160 up front and 235-485 in the rear. I don't know but I assume these are the numbers for the progression of the springs(as they progress they get stiffer). | |

| I have heard good things about the H/D progressive shocks. I would love to get a set for my Rhino, but I have been thinking about selling it and getting a RZR. So I don't want to spend to much money on it just to sell it. Where did you buy them from?

| You can get them on ebay for like 600$ plus 50 shipping And I here you can get them from hunterworks for about that.
I haven't got to ride them on the trails yet but if they are as impressive on the trails as the are on rough roads I will have to say it is the best mod I have made so far but I will have to get a few more miles on them to tell.

| I know where you could get a set at a good price. My brother has a set for his Rhino he has never installed.
I can't believe you gained GC MNG, but you will love the ride. They are nice and soft. I have them on my Rhino. I would like to swap rear springs from the EPI heavy duty back to the Progressive springs. I lost at least an inch GC from swithching from stock to Progressives. I added the Moose lift, which failed in the rear. That is why I went to the HD springs from EPI. The ride is a little too stiff in my book now, but it is tolerable.

Which springs are on yours? mine are rated at 110-160 in the front and 235-485 in the rear(these numbers are written on the springs). I am hoping tomorrow to get to take then for a 30-40 mile ride then I will check my ground clearance again.

| I'm jealous. Shocks are next on my list -- but not likely to happen until next spring....
Last weekend I bottomed mine out (with 4 notches of preload) several times on rocks and waterbars in New Hampshire. Those are some ROUGH trails we were riding...

| I bottomed my front stock shocks all the time that's the main reason I went looking for shocks. Well that and I am hoping these cure the kick in the back. | |

| I am not sure. I ordered the HD springs for the Progressive rears. I felt the springs were a little weak. I added the EPI springs and now I feel it kicks like a mule. I was really happy with the setup with the Progressive springs and the 2" Moose lift, but like I said the lift failed. Adding the EPI springs put me back up where I was with the lift. I think I would like to swap the springs back, put on the new Moose lift they sent me, add the helper bars Pate made, then add 27" tires. I think it would be near perfect. | |

| After several hard miles 30-40 I feel these shocks were a very worthy investment. My suspension has settled I now have 11 inches ground clearance up front(10 1/2 stock) and 12 1/4 in the rear(12 7/8 stock). Which I feel really helped the looks of my bike by making it closer to level front to rear.
These numbers are unloaded and in the shipped shock setting.

| Shocks and belts are two of the best upgrades out there, IMO. Your ride is nice brother. You have done a lot to it. Maybe add a power steering in the future???? | |

| The front progressives rock. Really a big improvement.
The rear were a big disappointment to me even with the Progressive HD springs. Once I switched to the EPI HD springs on the Progressive's the rear was much better. I just have to keep some weight in the rear or it rides rough. Not a problem keeping weight since my Rhino is a 4 seater...
