? about RZR Drive line

I unfortunately have become very familiar with the Rhino's middle drive gear and have decided that this design sucks. Since the RZR has the motor turned sideways, does this mean they don't need one? I am now in the beginning stages of convincing the wife that "WE" need a new RZR-S and need all the ammunition I can muster.

The RZR has a transmission outside the engine.
