| Knock the roll pin out and you should be able to swing it out to the side and pull like hell. | |

| Tried that it's not coming out that way. There is no room to get the shaft out. | |

| I took the right front axle out...knocked the roll pin out, then slid the yoke back to the rear to get it off of the splines. I took the center console out so I could get a better grip on the shaft...put the machine in neutral so you can twist the shaft to get the yoke to lay to the right...a few good shoves and grunts and it will pass thru to the front.

| I replaced the rear u/j in place... not easy, but it can be done. Haven't tried the front one yet but that is on my list of things to do. | |

| If its the same u joint my 2010 takes, inside clips, use a Spicer 5-170X, greasable and around 14 bucks.
Now drive shaft removal, I would imagine it would be the same as my '10 S.
Remove bottom skid plate and center console. Knock roll pin out in front yoke, slide driveshaft backwards to slip off front shaft then foward taking the front yoke beside the front diff. Once rear yoke is off slide the driveshaft backwards tilting the front up as u go, it will come out the bottom sort of like a puzzle. Also took the passenger side tire off to get to the roll pin easier.
I took it one step further. The rear yoke wears and starts to rattle because there's nothing keeping it tight against the shaft. I added 6 tapped cokes on the yoke for set screws. Once back together all is running true and no more yoke rattle. | |

| I just took mine out I remove the passenger side front axle. If I took off my skid plate , it would NEVER go back on. | |
