| Over the weekend, I installed the EMP front bumper and Viper 4000 winch, added a 300 amp fuse at the battery to protect against shorts in the winch battery leads, and continued to clean out mud ... man these RZRs have plenty of crevices to capture that stuff.
I need to get some pics together ... | |

| Took apart my CVT to inspect and clean it yesterday. Belt was clean as a whistle and still looks like new with 1200 miles on the old Rhino. | |

| Finished trimming up the plastic "filler pieces" for the Dash Customs 1/2 winshield which had slots cut out to go around the grab handle on my front tire mount, and got everything bolted up and back together. The 1/2 windshield is so solidly mounted now, I'm going to try it without using the "Z braces" that it provides. The grab handle sticks back over the instrument cluster, into the cockpit, right above where those Z braces would normally mount. Picture a 1.5" slot, 5" tall, cut into the windshield there on each side. I trimmed pieces of the stock plastic front skidplate to fit snugly around the 1" grab handle and bolted them onto the windshield using 1/8" SS bolts and nuts. Not a major mod, but time-consuming shade-tree engineering... | |
