Spud, i think a group of 5 or 6 buggies is a good group, no more than 10. I have been on some of the large rides and they just stretch out too long, too slow, and stopping every 20 minutes.

I dont like to dawdle on a ride. I would have been miserable on a 40 buggy ride but then again the cumberlands is my back yard and i have had several years to "smell the coffee".

But thats my opinion.

I think for the number of people we had Big-R kept everyone moving real well. Hell we ride 30 to 40 miles all the time at home, some time its nice to slow down and visit with friends.

I agree with five or six bikes you can cover more ground most of the time but that doesn't mean you have more fun, with the bigger groups you get more offering a show.

I like to watch others prove themselves!!!!!! Eat

i also enjoy the visiting with friends and seeing all the new buggies and improvements to the old buggies , its alot like a family reunion with this bunch and conference committie meetings are great! riding just happens to be a side effect to theses gatherings and like mud & guts said watching others prove themselves is great !!
