| Not sure, but I guess it would all depend on your height and headroom. They took 5-3/4" out of my RZRS, but it angles up. The Cat roof is fairly level and I have never seen anyone that has done a chop on it. See if you can send a PM to DoddS. His buddy Brian Williams lives down near Natural Bridge and does some really nice custom work. He might be able to give you some pointers. | |

| I chopped my 07. I just cut 2 inches off the tube. it looked great. I just took a rule and went around the factory end and then cut it. I then cut the angle off the v brace between the seats and cut 2 inces out and rewelded. I just sprung the bars together and used the pieces I had cut ou to redrill the holes. I know they changes the mounting holes sometime | |

I stand corrected. I have seen Heath's old Cat so I guess I have been in the presence of a shorter CAT.

| You would be better off to just build a new one the height that you want as the cat cages are junk to begin with. Not worth the time or effort to mess with. | |

| What ever you do Tippy, dont roll that thing over. I have seen two of them rolled and it was not pretty at all. A lot of people in our area dont even call them a roll cage. They refer to them as a roof mount. | |

| How short are you guys?
I think I'd be looking through the X brace if I was to shorten 4 inches.
