| Have you ever measured you actual tire height? The first thing I do after installing tires is measure the height to see if it is correctly rated....
26 inch Grim reapers measure----26 3/8-----14psi--Measured by me 26 inch Motogrips measure--------25 1/2-----12psi Stock 25s measured----------------24 1/2-----14psi 26 Inch Terracrosses measured---26 1/4-----15psi 26 OG Bighorns measured---------26.5--------12psi--Measured by Kent 27"ITP 589s-------------------------26 1/2------13psi--Measured by Big Bore with 1000 miles
I picked up a set of 27inch Mudlite XTRs this weekend for a friend (Thanks to Airborne) and was surprised they only measuered 25 3/4 (when not mounted on rims) Can someone measure their XTR's to see how much they balloon out when mounted? I am expecting them to be about the same as my Grim Reapers in actual mounted height...
If you have tires other than these can you measure and post in this thread so in the future we all know what size we are actually getting.... This may help some one decide which tire they need for the size they want...
Personally I use a two foot level to measure my tires... I lay the level on the top center of the tire and with it level I measure from the bottom of the level to the ground..

| My 26" OG Bighorns on 7" ITP wheels measured 26.5" with 12 PSI.
I've heard some folks report 26.75", but I didn't see it with mine... maybe if you cranked the pressure up on these big knobby donuts they'd go to that, but not at the PSI that I run...

Added to the list.... I run 12psi also.... In the terracrosses I ran 15 psi to try and stiffen up the ride due to the soft side walls..
