| Have you checked your TBAP sensor and wiring? | |

| Mine did the exact same thing the other day.. My fuel pump was only putting out 20 psi.. Its suppose to be 40.. Changed the pump and it runs great. Seems to be a pretty common problem.. | |

| Take the plug off the ECM behind the seat and put dielectric grease on it. Sometimes if they have gotten water in them from riding or washing it will do that. Mine did it a few times till i did this. | |

It just happens, mine did it at windrock after 20 miles, i unpluged the ecm, and pluged it back in and it was fine the rest of the day. the mosture could have been there for awhile , just dielectric grease the plug and it should stop, mine did. | |

| I copied this from PRC about a 700 XP
*TBAP = Temperature & Barometric Air Pressure Sensor: The TBAP sensor is located in the air-tube between the throttle body and the air filter. It senses air temp and barometric pressure, and sends a signal to the ECU so that the ECU can adjust the fuel accordingly. Most of the time when there is an issue with the TBAP it is due to *broken/bare wires, or occasionally dirt on the TBAP. When there is a problem with the TBAP the ECU is programmed to make the machine run rich, but for some reason the machine will display a few different symptoms. There is no way to test the TBAP. FYI - If you clean the TBAP sensor use an carburetor cleaner or an electronics type cleaner, something that WILL NOT leave any residue behind on the sensor. You can check the wiring to see if it's broken internally by pulling on them - most of the time the insulation will stretch and slightly change color if the wire inside is broken. *New connecter for TBAP #2875542 Kit Harness (Repair Kit )

| I would really check your fuel pressure first.. Go to autozone and rent a gauge.. Its free.. you pay a deposit and you get your money back when you return the gauge. Takes about 5 mins to test.. Just remove the passenger seat connect the gauge then turn the key on.. If it only does it after the RZR is hot then drive it first.. Mine would run ok when I first cranked it.. Once it got hot it would not idle with out giving it gas.. It was also really hard to start once it got hot. From what I understand when the pumps are going bad they do worse the hotter they are. If yours is out of warranty you can get a replacement pump at auto zone for a jeep wrangler.. Its 87 bucks. | |
