Man I we just put new brakes on my rhino but dang ..when i put on my brakes it sounds like my rear end is goin to fall out..i wounder if my disks are shot?

Mine squeals and sounds metal to metal when i hit the brakes but i still havent changed my rear pads...but mine has mande that noise when i hit them for a long time now

How was the rotor when you replaced the pads, was it worn with grooves in it. Did it do it right away with the new pads or did it just start.

i didnt do the brakes..Z28 & Rhinomcb did..they grinded right after they put the new pads on

u never said anything about them grinding at zzzzzzz s.how manytimes did u ride up and down his road???4-5 ?? then u rode down there once since.u probly got some thing in them.get tour dad to check !! affraid study shark

mine was making the noise i changed the pads and greased my fittings today(water came out affraid ) quit making the noise after i did all that and my rotor has grooves on one side cause just the front pad(rear caliper) was down to the metal but still stops now i think i need to do the front cause when i hit the brakes HARD it makes an Awful noise like metal on metal clangin around any ideas?

Well....... there's your problem!!!!!!!!!!! geek lol! pot rebel Just kidding!! Were they Yamaha pads?? I've read where the aftermarket pads plain suk (EBC, ect)and to stick w/Yamaha pads.

same here but i think ill change the fronts cause the noise went away when i was riding and not present if i hit the brakes but if i smash the pedal to the floor is when i get it so i think mine are good
