| I just wanted to get some feedback on heaters. I know some have the Rhinogear or Rangerware heater, some have the Summitt, etc. I would like to hear the good/bad from each and possibly see some pics if you have them.
GIMPY.........hint, hint

| It was 28 here today. I used the RZRS and plow to beat up some ice on the drive, and do some riding. Had it on for about an hour, with no doors. I could feel it. Still planning on getting some doors. | |

| Hey Airborne, I don't have a plow for my Rhino. A neighbor does and will clean my driveway for $10. As long as he'll do it for that I'm gonna spend the dough to rig my outfit to do the job. He has some sort of soft top cab on his and inside he has one of these Coleman Propane Heaters that he sets in a cup holder. Has to take off his coat to plow it gets so warm in there. Coleman GolfCat Propane Catalytic Heater # Continually provides whisper quiet heat # 3,000 BTU's of heat without flame raises the cart temperature from 10-25 degrees (varies with cart enclosure) # Heater head is angled to maximize heat direction towards those in the cart # Can also be used away from the golf course, in your shop, garage, ball games or for emergency heat # Includes carry case for convenient transporting # Electronic ignition for quick and easy matchless lighting # Battery ignition for push button lighting # Pressure regulated propane fuel control system # Operates up to 7 hours on a 16.4 oz. disposable propane cylinder (not included) # Versatile stand ideal on table, floor or other flat surfaces # Requires minimum ventilation | |

| I'm up in the air myself.. Im not real big on the idea of having that large heater under my dash all year or having the extra lines in my cooling system. Good thing about those systems though its free heat. I like the Coleman heater and you could even use that at camp or if you stopped out on the trail. Only thing is refilling/replacing those little bottles. I already have to carry a couple with me cause of my torch and my camp grill. So having something else that uses them would mean more freaking bottles to deal with... Just a FYI the summit one everyone gets is on backorder till 1/20 I was going to just go a head a try it for 135 when I seen they were out.. They have another one that looks just like it but the entire front is open vs the 2 holes. Anyone have that one? This one is nice and comes with everything you need but its 330.. http://www.sidebysidesports.com/rzrzrscabhek1.html | |

| which one did you get the summit one or the one from sidebysidesports? I ended up ordering the one from SxS sports today. I kinda of wanted a defrost kit so even if I waited for summit to get theirs I'd still have to buy the defrost kit, the Y connetors, some hose. That was already 200 bucks plus a long wait. I think the one from SxSsports will fit under the dash a little better. | |

| BTW the pipe through the firewall would probably give some heat at low speed, But at high speed it would probably just blow cold air on you. Also if you hit any water steam will rush into the cab.. | |

| Well I looked at it this way.. I rather have the heater and not Need vs Need it and not have it.. Besides a few weeks back at brimestone we hit some water that steamed up our cab.. That steam fogged my windshield up something fierce. Then it pretty much froze.. So I wanted defrost lol | |

It does not even get cold down there! We were at -20 this past week and I still rode comfortable. Well, I have a wife and a daughter that ride with me on occasion. It is nice to be able to keep them warm in any type of weather I would want to ride in. I had a heater in my Rhino. It came in handy on more than one occasion.
