| Can't use 12" rims on Prowler. Plus I've been riding on 14" for awhile and like them, with no side wall problems. | |

| Maybe not on stock rims, I bet they are 14"...but you could get aftermarket ones that were 12" | |

- Well I run 25" GBC Dirt Commanders. I do agree that GBC runs small, the 25's measure 25 at the top of the tread. Interesting because my new Reapers measure 27" to the top of the tread and the machine is actually 1" higher.
Not sure what your trying to say. If you went from a 26" to a 27".....and the tires were true to their size, you would have only gained a half inch. The 26" Bighorns measure more like 27", where the GBC wont be a 25" once the tread wears down. The tire opinons are kinda like the "Ford vs Chevy" deal. I personaly will never use an ITP tire. The best tires I have ever used were Kendas, but their SXS tire doesnt impress me. Now, I was very happy with GBC Dirt Tamers as a very cheap Big Horn knock off! Just not a radial, but they last forever!

Yes you can. Ok, let me be more careful with my words then......I wouldn't put 12" rims on my 2011 1000 XTZ Prowler because the rims are so close to break caliper(if not touching) it would not be safe "in my eyes". Hope that clears things up for the general public.......

Hope that clears things up for the general public....... But with a little modification, one can run 12" wheels.....stock or not. One of 2 things have to be done......a little machining on the caliber, or a caliber re-location kit. There was nothing wrong with your wording RangeRover.......nothing at all

| Guess the key words are "stock" and "modification". At least others who read will be clear on the matter that a stock Prowler wouldn't work well with 12" rims without a little modification.... | |

| That or if you wanna put spacers on it to get it away from the caliper itself. Either way there is no need to downsize. Ive only popped my front 27s off my 14 inch rims because I was running 4 PSI in them. Whoops! | |

| I have ran few different tires on my rhino and I must say the Grim Reapers are the best so far. They offer great puncture resistance, good traction in a wide variety of terrains (wet or dry), and with 1000 miles are wearing great. My 26" tires measured almost 26 1/4 (with 15PSI) when new. | |

| Thanks for all the input. Still not sure on the exact tire choice yet but have found some new tires that I had not seen before. | |

Those are the tires I just switched to from the bighorns except in 28.5's. So far, they seem like a really good tire... did a lot of reading on them and never found anyone say anything bad about 'em. Only time will tell. Mark

| I need a tire with 8ply sidewalls. Every tire brand I get I always get flats threw the side walls. BH, DT,stock tires,BH knock offs all in the sidewalls. I think the BH were the best so far 100 miles before my first flat. | |

I didn't make it 2 miles before I got a flat in the sidewalls with the BH's. That was actually the reason why I immediately bought the Pitbull Growlers. 8 ply with better sidewall protection. Obviously nothing is impervious but seems if there is a weak link, I'll find it. Mark
