Thanks everyone... I received a PM from a member inviting me to check your site out after joining another site. The funny thing was I checked this site out before and because I hadn't registered, there were no "forum" posts.... only the 3 sections you can see when you aren't a member so I never signed up.
Anyway, I apologize for not introducing myself last night, by the time I got home, settled in relaxed, I really wasn't in any condition to start typing without making a fool of myself...lol.
Sooooo.... here's the lowdown.
I'm 48, married with two girls. (13,16... the 13 thinks she's 16, the 16 thinks she's 21 and my wife thinks she's 29????)
I've been racing and riding atv's, sportbikes and cars for many years and I'm a bit of a speedfreak.
I may as well get this out of the way so no one else has to say it... I am a MODAHOLIC. There, I said it (that was actually pretty easy...lol)
I modify EVERYTHING...it doesn't matter if it's a cell phone or my ride, it's getting changed.
I'm new to UTV's, I recently bought a Can Am Commander. I've had it less than 2 months and have a long list from Gorilla axles to replacement clutches.
Anyway, thought I'd introduce myself and can't wait to get an opportunity to ride with ya'll.
I live in Charlotte, NC and don't mind driving. (in fact, I'm in the process of making my UTV street legal so maybe I can just ride to my destination instead of trailering it...lol)
Here's a few pics.
While I was at it, I bought this for my youngest one.
...and a 200cc Polaris Phoenix in pink for my older daughter.
Sorry for the long intro, hope to meet everyone soon.
Mark
EDIT: Just for the record, I love my Commander but I love utv's in general, I AM NOT a brand junkie and don't mind if you rode a Frigidaire utv, just as long as you ride. In fact, I'm waiting for my dealer to get the new Polaris XP in to see if I like it. I do a lot of trail riding and sometimes the Commander is just too big. (though I'm not sure what the width of the new XP's are)
