| I am needing a winch for my rzr. I also am in need of a front bumper. I have seen some bumpers that have a place to mount a winch. Although most rzrs that i have seen have the winch mounted in the front end area. What do most of you use? | |

| I have a EMP front bumper. If I were to do it again I would go with a Warn bumper. The EMP is a little weak IMO | |

| I'm actually thinking about ordering the EMP in the morning. I've never heard anything negative about it. Why do you think it's weak Roadie? | |

It is only rated for a 3000 pound winch.

| I bent the brace pulling the RZR out of a mud hole. A friend with a quad pulled me out so I would not bend it more. | |

| Lets just say that the quad that pulled me out had a Warn 2500 lb winch. My winch is a Viper 4000 lb and was pulling it but the bumper started to bend. | |

| The Warn mounts the same way and uses the same thickness of metal. How do you know it wouldn’t bend? I have the EMP and wouldn’t hesitate to buy a one again. | |

All steel is not created equal......Alloy, temper, hardness and heat treat can make 2 identical looking pieces of steel completely different. Not saying that one bumper is better, or worse than the other....just stating what could make then different.

| I have to agree with bush and Dodd. EMP makes a great bumper. I have seen these things in action.
Roadie, I would give EMP a call.

| I talked to them on one of these forums ,and he said the winch is to big. I'm going take it of and weld a strong back on the brace. | |
