Post up how many miles you got out of your bearings. Also list what size tires you were running most of the time. Want to see if we see some sort of pattern here. Feedback

1400 on the rear with 26inch tires. The front are still good and tight.

I think a lot of it has to do more with the way you ride than the size tires you have. The tires do play a roll but the harder you ride the bigger difference they will make.

I have over 1700 miles now and my rears are solid, but my fronts are getting some play. Exact opposite of Neils.

Most miles were on 25" tires. Lots of creek travel. Little mud.

you must knock them out from the inside. use a punch and catch it on the lip on the bearing. there are 2 bearings and a spacer in the middle of them. they can be a bitch but once you know how to do it its not to bad.

X2 There is a lip in between the two bearing making it impossible to drive them strait through.

First time was around 1200 miles have 3700 miles now. Changed them 3 times, waiting on set number 4 to come in the mail. This time I also ordered the bushings and spacers and bolts for the rear knuckles, and a-arms, on all four wheels. See 27, 29 and 31.

This is the best thing I have seen to get them out. You need the 30mm which is not included in the set. You can buy the single 30mm and the handle by them selves.

I replaced the bushings and pins at 1400 with the rear bearing. I figured I would keep my old bushings and pins for emergency spares.

I am sooooo going to buy this.

I got about 1700 miles out of my bearings. Funny thing is I just replace one set on the rear 2 or 3 hundred miles ago. I let my dealer work on the rhino and they had to pull the spindles and now ALL of my bearings need replacing. I am very up set and going to let they know it tomorrow. I know they did not tighten the spindle nut correctly.

I used all-balls this go round because they were handy I have some moose bearings on the shelf for the next time. And yes the lip on the seals are smaller than the stock seals.

I also have a few bearings on the shelf from the local machine shop that have the same dementions as the stockers.

The last bearing I bought from Yamaha had different seals in it. Thay were not Yamaha bearings but it was what they had. I think the next bearings I get I am going to get from the local bearing shop to see if they last longer.

The only reason I traded my Rhino was the bearings. Seemed like I was going through them all the time. First set was replaced about 800 miles and I had 26'' tires. I have over 2400 miles on my rex and have had no problems. Here is a pic of my old Rhino.

Big R. no reason for a press. Knock each one out from the opposite side it is on, or from that bearings back side. Once you get both out, use one of the old bearing races or the right size socket to knock the new ones in. Not that hard once you have done a set. I got lots of practice doing mine. lol!
