Need help finding a place for honeymoon.

We are getting married next saturday the 14th and only have til monday to go on a honeymoon. Since we dont have much time I dont wanna waste alot of time driving. Pigeon forge or Gatlinburg were my first thought but quickly changed when i found out its rod run weekend, so now i dont know what to do. Gonna leave Athens around 5pm saturday to wherever we pick and will be coming back home either sunday nite or monday morning. Any ideas on places within 2-3hrs of East TN?

then plan to a mini vac later when you have more time.

That is exactly what I was thinking. My wedding originally started as a weekend camping at picketts. I got to ride that weekend but it wasn't the 4 wheeler though.

Rod runs are every weekend until Winter so I would not let that bother you.

Gatlinburg falls resorts.com Is a nice place to get away, they
have 1 bedroom cabins all the way up to 18 bedrooms if you
check early ( pasion peak)might be available it's a 1 bedroom
w/a heart shaped tub downstairs and a hot tub on the deck
with a great view of the mountains ( if your looking arround)
if you get hungry the alamo steak house is right down the hill.

I have a cabin at Nolin. It is in ky.

I wish we could go to brimstone but my rzr is going back to the dealer for repairs . Big r does that place have a website?

look up helen ga ...near blairsville ga .the blue ridge mts are very nice .there are lots of nice cabins there .just for a day or two and close to home . vogle state park is also nice in that area ,they also have cabins reasonable

Have you ever heard of Breaks Interstate Park? It is located on the border of Va and Ky. Nice little park for a weekend get away. They have a nice lodge and lots of foot trails that lead to over looks. Probably 30 minutes from Pikeville Ky. Me and my wife like it for a weekend get away.

I messed my foot up and can't get around real great so we will be going back to the apartment for the honeymoon. Cheap and I know the area I guess lol
