A great man and friend was killed yesterday

Guys, just wanted to let you know how much I value your friendship. You guys are like family to me. I know sometimes we get wrapped up in a lot of BS and lose sight of what's important.

I lost a friend yesterday. He was killed by a rocket attack about 200 meters from my office. I talked to him just about an hour before it happened. He was walking back to his room on the same road we walk everyday back and forth to work. Wife and three kids left behind. Just sayin........you never know when it is your time.

Looking forward to seeing some of you guys here in April hopefully.

Sucks brother, Stay safe!!. You never really know.. My uncles wife has two brothers. One went into the military the other worked for a tire company here at home.. The one that went into the military is a live and well. The other was killed 2 years ago on his way home from work when a kid ran into his driver side door which killed him instantly.. He was in his thirties and had 3 kids also.. Just saying. some people wonder how you guys with families can serve and work such a dangerous job.. Don't think most of them realize how little it takes to loose a life..

That is very sad Chris. I will keep you and his family in my thoughts and prayers.

Very sorry Chris. Just read where we lost 2 Soldiers in a Rocket attack in Southern Iraq last week. May God Bless your fallen friend and provide some comfort to his immediate and extended families.

And i hope you all get the Dirty Bastards that did it.

so sorry to hear this chris. i know the feeling I lost a Law Enforcement buddy 2 weeks ago when he was shot and killed in the line of duty. You and his family are in my thoughts. You stay safe over there man and get back ASAP!!

I hate to hear that Chris. It cant be said enough how valuable what you guys are doing for us all, as you know. Thank you very much for your service and every other soldier who has paid the ultimate price.

This hole world is turning to shit, Everybody is killing everyone for no reason.Some people just don't value life.

Sorry buddy , I lost a co worker and friend yesterday as well. One thing i have learned is to not take any day or any one for granted. Stay safe and we are behind you guys and gals 100%

Chris sorry for your friend and his family. It pains me when people just take for granted our military being in harms way. I was at Ft. Hood a couple of weeks ago doing some work and the soldiers that I was working with were fixing to deploy to Afghanistan and they all were thinking nothing much about it because they have been there before. But, it is the job and
YOU ALL DO A DAMN FINE JOB OF PROTECTING OUR FREEDOMS!!!!!! I know it probably gets old some times, but for me working around the military day end and day out I try my best to say "Thank you for your Service" to every soldier I come in contact with. Look forward to a cold Bud Light with ya Brother! Stay safe!!!!!!
