Finally got our camping reservations phone tag for three weeks, we will be on 3,4,and 5 or 17,18.and 19, she said will lets us know, i think 3,4,5 better as map shows, she says no riding on sunday, OK-rest of week---CATCH US IF YOU CAN

Big D......I told Coot that Sunday will be no problem....we can stash all of the machines at the motel or over at Crams.....not a problem.

I stopped and checked to see if the 2012 ORV permits were available yet.....no, next month.

The northeast shore line of Lake Michigan still has ice on it and piles of ice where the wind and waves have stacked it up. There are still small piles of snow in places. I spent an hour sitting on the trailer tonight looking at the night sky.......you have never seen a sky like this, so many stars and planets....it will blow you away when you guys get to look at it.

I am up here for the 3rd time so far this year...... yesterday...2" and cool...like around 35°.
Also crossed over the Mac bridge today, over and back. Looking @ the sign for toll charges, I would say that you guys crossing the bridge are
looking @ $5.00 per axle, so add that to your budget.
One more thing, I met a dude in Petosky, MI today that knows how to get to places that I have not yet figured out......I will be contacting him in the first part of June to make arrangements with him to show me how to take all of you from Big Bay to the far east side of the UP......this is way more than we can do in a day and night.......I can't wait!
I need a count of machines that will be coming up so I can buy everyones ORV permit.....

fox, i think we should all wait until we head up to get our permits . that way if anyone has to back out you are not left holding the bag and out the $$$ .permits are available about everywhere and we wouldnt want ya to get stuck !
